ADA MAE POWERS*POWERS, ADA MAE January 19, 1919 - October 5, 2010 Ada Mae Powers was born in New Jersey in 1919. Ada was married to Cecil "Butch" Powers and they built their home in Point Loma in 1949 where she lived out her life. She had a love for traveling to foreign countries and writing about her experiences. She also wrote a book of "Poems from the Heart." Ada worked for the IRS for 24
